Past Physics Day Summaries

USU Physics Day at Lagoon began in May 1990. It was an outgrowth of a summer workshop for high school and middle school teachers at USU run by USU's Gil Moore, JR Dennison, and Teresa Burns.

The project has grown each year and now annually serves more than 6,500 students from over one hundred schools in four states. Over 75,000 students and more than 3,000 teachers have attended USU Physics Day at Lagoon since its inception in 1990. Almost one million dollars in prizes have been awarded.
